Talk 'Putting Aspen on the Map in Strathspey’ , Nethybridge Church Hall 7.45pm

Tuesday 20th November 2007

The Group’s next public meeting is an illustrated talk on aspen in our district by John Parrott of Scottish Native Woods. Aspen is one of our most remarkable trees and supports a wealth of rare and interesting wildlife. In recent years understanding about its importance for conservation in our district has been growing.

In his talk ‘Putting Aspen on the Map in Strathspey’ John will describe an important project to record aspen that some members may be interested in helping with this winter.
